Todays entertainment was lovely :) she went along with our theme of travelling to Paris, asked the residents how they were getting there, then announced when we had arrived. I have to admit to not being sure how the afternoon was going to work, but it was a great success. [They] were wonderful they sang to a group of people in the dining room, another group in the coffee lounge and they even sang to a few people in their rooms who could not get out of bed. Their harmonies were great and very well received by the residents who thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, we even had a few residents who don't normally come out say they thought they had lovely voices.

I just wanted to say what a lovely woman Emily is and what a fantastic singer. Everyone who came to our Open Day had a lovely time and spoke really highly of her. Emily also agreed to come with myself and my colleagues who were also dressed up as Mary Poppins, Bert from Mary P, Tinker bell and Alice In Wonderland to visit our residents in their rooms who are poorly at the moment so that they could still be part of the day. Emily sang a little, to one of our ladies who is sadly very ill and all I can is, that this put a huge smile on my resident's face. Emily interacted with everyone on Saturday from the young to the very old. So could you please thank her again on behalf of us all here at Swarthmore for certainly making our Disney Themed Open Day Magical.

Just emailing you some feedback, regarding the barbershop quartet that we had booked yesterday, just to say that they were really good with their style, harmonising and telling us about the history of barbershop singing, which was really interesting, they showed us as individuals the different tones in their voices, that when put together make their harmony, they were so engaging and really nice people. Really recommend, very different and shall have them back again in the future.

Multiple residents and family members commented on how good she was with her singing but also how she engaged as many people as she could and got them dancing, clapping, singing along etc. We would love to welcome her back another time soon. I had to email you to tell you how AMAZING Johnny was today. He completely had the room under his charming spell. We had a big birthday today, one of our members turned 100! So, the room was very full and he made the atmosphere magical! He roamed around each table charming all our members and even serenading them (which made their year). And his choice of songs was so perfect for the age range we had watching. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. We will absolutely be asking him to come back!!

Christan is a fantastic saxophone player and singer, our resident enjoyed his reggae show immensely as well as our staff. He gets everyone moving and interacts with our residents. One resident said “out of all the entertainers we have had he is the best”. We have been asked to book him again and will be visiting us for the third time. We are looking forward to having him back for his fantastic reggae show and will continue to have him visit us.

I just wanted to say how good Billy was at our St.Patricks Day party, he was great at interacting with the residents encouraging them to get up and dance throwing out some jokes and been a good entertainer all round. I just wanted to give some feedback that singer Sharn, who we booked to perform her Soul & Motown Show at KLS on 30th May was FANTASTIC. All the artists you provide us are wonderful. but she really was amazing a great voice and wonderful with our elders they were all up and dancing - it was a colleagues retirement party with our elderly members saying goodbye to her and it was wonderful to have such a great celebration and Sharn was a real big part of that. Thank you for all you do for us and your lovely Sharn for her amazing voice.

Leona spent a while chatting with the people we support, finding out what music they liked so she could tailor the setlist to their preferences. She said she was happy to add any songs requested which were mostly ABBA. During her performance, she spent a lot of time going to each person present, engaging well with them, dancing with them and getting them involved as much as possible. We would give Leona 5*.
